The perfect way to get in some of your greens!

I have made so many smoothies these past few months. I usually use whatever fruit I have on hand and orange juice. But today, I wanted to mix it up with some spinach. Smoothies are so refreshing! Starting my morning with a homemade smoothie and a cup of coffee puts me in the best mood.

What is great about this Berry Spinach Smoothie is that the mix of berries provides the perfect flavor and color, while the spinach, banana, and milk give it a nice smooth texture. Perfection!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup of milk (I use skim milk)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 1/4 cup of raspberries
  • 1/4 cup of blackberries

Steps:

Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
